CT600 and CT400 camera talkback switchers
The CT600 Camera Talkback Switcher will interface six camera control units to a talkback system.
The unit provides for production talkback distribution to six cameras with a vision engineer 'talk over' facility
requiring only one production talkback feed to and from the main talkback system, the CT600 also saves on system ports.

When the vision engineer keys to a camera his voice is added to the production talkback feed.
When keyed, camera reverse talkback is diverted away from the director to the CT600 panel speaker.
Engineering conversations may then take place without distracting the director.
An 'all talk' key is provided for the engineer to talk to all cameras at once.
Internal jumpers are provided to alter the unit's mode of operation. The vision engineer may either hear all
camera reverse conversations or may select to just hear reverse camera talkback when the camera 'talk' key is pressed.
When the vision engineer talks to the camera he may either talk over the director or the director feed may be
cut while conversation takes place.
If preferred, the director input to the unit may be fed with programme sound with the vision engineer then over-keying the programme
sound feed to the cameras.
- Talkback keys are press down for momentary action or up to latch.
- Front panel stalk mic input on 3 pin XLR with 12v phantom power.
- 5 pin XLR for headset use.
- Front panel microphone amplifier gain adjustment.
- Speaker cut switch.
- LEDs on each key indicate talk status.
- LEDs on each key indicate reverse talkback from cameras, particularly useful to identify which
camera's talkback has been left open.

Ideal for 'fly-away' units, the CT400 Camera Talkback Switcher takes care
of all audio requirements when interfacing four camera control units
to a talkback system, requiring only one production talkback feed to and from the talkback system, the CT400 saves on talkback
system ports.

The CT400 also takes care of programme sound distribution.
When the vision engineer keys to a camera his voice is added to the production talkback feed. When keyed,
camera reverse talkback is diverted away from the director to the CT400 panel speaker. Engineering
conversations may then take place without upsetting the director.
- Talkback keys are press down for momentary action or up to latch.
- Front panel stalk mic input is on 3 pin XLR with 15v phantom power.
- All system levels may be controlled with gain of up to 12dB.
- Level controls are provided for talkback to and from individual cameras, programme sound level,
vision engineer level, reverse talkback to vision and reverse talkback to the director.
- Red LEDs on each key indicate talk status.
- Green LEDs on each key indicate reverse talkback from cameras, particularly useful to identify
which camera's talkback has been left open.

The CT400 operates on 230Vac 50Hz and has an IEC mains input.
All audio connections are on 38 pin Edacs.
